Small Value Surfacing Framework Additional information: This opportunity is available via The Chest www.the-chest.org.uk Cumbria County Council is responsible for the strategic local services within Cumbria. The Highways team within the council is responsible for over 7,300km of road; comprising: ? 679km of A Class Roads (Primary Route Network); ? 2,910 km of B and C Class Roads (Non- Primary Route Network); ? 3,774km of Unclassified roads. A new surfacing framework is currently awaiting approval to award for the larger surfacing schemes. This will establish three area based contracts to deliver these schemes for up to three years.
