The Council operates a fleet of approximately 700 items comprising of cars, small vans, mini buses, tippers, road sweepers, refuse collection vehicles, trailers and plant equipment. The Council is seeking a comprehensive framework of Suppliers who can provide a range of vehicles/plant on a short term hire basis as and when required. If the required vehicle/plant cannot be supplied via this framework the Council at their discretion may source via an alternative method or framework agreement. The annual expenditure for short term hire is estimated to be circa £320,000 pounds based on previous expenditure across a number of Suppliers.
