Secure Mental Health Transfer Service

The Secure Mental Health Transfer Service is for a specific subset of our patients who require specialist Mental Health transfers, but with a secure and protected transfer, under the Mental Health Act, to a location selected by the psychiatric team assessing and sectioning the patient. These transfers are booked in advance. <br/><br/>The contract term will be for four years with the option to extend for a further 2 years therefore the maximum term of the contract will be 6 years.<br/><br/>The London Ambulance Service NHS Trust may wish to extend the use of the resulting contract to other Southern Ambulance Services Collaboration (SASC) members.
