Overview
The Flight gallery on Level 3 of the Science Museum was originally installed in 1963 and underwent its last major update in 1993. A project is underway for review and minor update to the gallery in 2023. Maintenance upgrades are planned, including lighting upgrades (as per this tender), interpretation updates and accessibility improvements. In terms of content, the main changes will be made to the graphics, interpretation panels and object labels.
