Overview

The University is in contract with Centaur Overland Travel Ltd for providing bus and coach services, between three campuses. The University plans to extend its contract until 31/08/2027 (an extension of 2 years). The extension period allows us to take advantage of the dedicated vehicles procured by the contractor in alignment with the University's Carbon Net Zero 2030 Strategy. The contractor has made significant investments, including electric double-decker buses and branded bus liveries. Bespoke innovations developed for the contract include a dedicated tap-in system for University ID cards, onboard WiFi, a real-time bus tracking application and digital timetables with real-time updates.…
