Develop a small size and low cost sensor system to enable rapid in-field inspection of ceramic armour providing an inexpensive solution with rapid pass/fail inspection capability. The programme of work will fall as follows: Stage 1: Further lab measurements 1. Shockwave vs: impact location, impact angle 2. Analysis of data to understand optimal sensor location and required number of sensors 3. Production of technical note containing results and design recommendations Stage 2: Demonstration system 4.
