Overview
Consultation undertaken as part of the Road to Zero Harm (RTZH) research project identified gaps in our knowledge related to the effectiveness of a specific set of longitudinal road marking types on safety outcomes (defined below). This work seeks to improve our understanding of how these longitudinal treatments influence driver behaviour, collision likelihood and severity outcomes. It will result in improved estimates of the KSI reductions that could be expected from these treatments on the SRN.
