Slough's Revenues, Benefits and Charges Service is responsible for the collection and administration of Council Tax for c56,000 households, Business Rates for c3000 businesses and Council Rents as well as the Administration and payment of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support to approx. 12,000 Households. Like many Revenues and Benefit services Slough has seen increases in workloads and additional demands by the DWP at the same time as reduced funding and resourcing pressures.
