RFQ: OWTF Very Low Frequency (VLF) Source Transducer

Generation of sufficient sound energy at low frequencies requires a specialist source transducer designed specifically for use at low frequencies. NPL has a growing requirement to deliver underwater acoustic test and calibration at extended low frequencies. This extended low frequency range is to operate primarily in the region of 10 Hz to 500 Hz but with operational capabilities to extend to at least 1 kHz. The transducer is to operate as a projector, driven with conventional amplification.
