The Revision Knee Network Project is an NHSE pilot, pioneering a new way of funding complex care. It is clinically driven and has benefited from close collaboration between the British Association for Surgery of the Knee (BASK), the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA) and the Get It Right First Time (GIRFT) team.<br/>The project establishes a new care pathway, with networks led by Major Revision Centres (MRCs), funded centrally and with clinical responsibility and governance directed by multidisciplinary team meetings (MDTs) across all geographical NHS regions.
