Reading Borough Council is looking to develop the market to ensure there are sufficient high quality residential children’s homes in the local vicinity to meet the diverse and challenging needs of Reading Borough Council’s children and young people. This will include young people already in the care of the local authority who may experience placement breakdown and those coming into care whose needs are consistent with a residential children’s home.
