Overview

Nottinghamshire County Council, on behalf of Rushcliffe Borough Council ( the Council), wishes to invite quotes for the supply of services by an appropriately qualified consultant in respect of producing an Authority-wide Design Code for Rushcliffe. The Design Code would replace the Rushcliffe Residential Design Guide SPD (2009) and be developed following the process described in the National Model Design Code ('NMDC'). The focus is for the selected consultancy is to work in partnership with the Council and key partners to identify the scope of the Design Code and to create a strong vision and set of rules and guidance for how the Borough should develop in future.
