Repairs Team Backup Contractor

The portfolio of properties will consist of a mixture of houses, bungalows, blocks of flats, tower blocks and sheltered housing schemes and corporate buildings of various types, construction, and ages. The Council has a legal responsibility to maintain these properties to keep them in good working order and undertake repairs as and when they are required.

With over 10,000 properties within the Housing stock and approximately 200 corporate buildings, a requirement exists for a multi-disciplined contractor to perform a backup function to Hillingdon's Reactive Repairs and Maintenance Service department (DLO) as a when we are unable to action works that are deemed to exceed 1 full working day to complete. Works will be batched up by trade and sent over for the backup contractor to plan and confirm a start and completion date, we would expect works to be completed within 90 working days where possible. · Brick & Masonry Works · External Works · Concrete works (for Path repairs) · Carpentry & Joinery · Plasterwork & other floor, wall & Ceiling finishes · Painting & Decorating · Plumbing The Council's annual spend on for this contract is approximately £250,000 (Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand pounds) per annum.
