Overview
St Helens Borough Council is to procure a contract for the acceptance, bulking, transfer, processing and sale of dry recyclable wastes collected by the authority. The Contract will include the bulking of food waste and may also include the transfer and processing of food waste. The contract should commence from January 2024. St Helens Borough Council shall collect source separated dry recyclable and food waste for acceptance by the Contractor. The Contractor is to provide a site in the St Helens region for the acceptance, bulking and transfer dry recyclable wastes and the sealed bulking of food wastes.
