The Faculty of Medicine at University of Southampton (UoS) has a very active research community with more than 450 members of academic staff. The School of Clinical and Experimental Sciences (CES) is a large part of the faculty, with research that spans numerous clinical areas: infectious diseases and diseases that affect the central nervous system, eyes, GI tract, joints, liver, lungs, skin and urogenital tract.
