There are currently approximately ~60+ Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) in use across the Sellafield site from a range of manufacturers including ABB, Cegelec, Siemens, Vacon and SEW. Sellafield is looking to conduct a tender competition for the placement of a 4-year framework agreement with one successful tenderer for the maintenance of VSDs to support Sellafield site operations. The total spend over the life of the proposed framework agreement is estimated at ~£1M.
