Overview
The Met Office hosts two production studios which are used to create content to be distributed to our customers, such as the British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS), through the visualisation of forecasting data. Due to contractual obligations to customers and our own content requirements, the Studio needs to operate 7 days a week, 365 days a year, whilst the core Met Office studio team works Monday to Friday. In the past, we have tried to cover this shortfall using various shift-work teams, but this resource is no longer available.
