The work completed through these tenders will inform the design and manufacturing work within the CHARMproject, a project which is supported by the EU Interreg North-West Europe and Accord Housing Association. CHARM stands for Circular Housing Asset Renovation & Management and it aims to reduce the amount of waste inthe housing construction sector. The building sector is responsible for more than 60% of resource use in Europe,with more than 30-50% of material use taking place in the housing construction sector.
