Overview
The University of Bristol is seeking tenders for a versatile, fully integrated dual beam Focused Ion Beam/ Scanning Electron Microscope (FIBSEM) with a Cryo-stage that will allow the milling of lamella from frozen-hydrated cells and tissue (via cryo lift out). The total solution will have correlative fluorescence microscopy capability and allow cryo-transfer to TEM for cryo-tomography studies. The instrument should also be operational at room temperature for volume EM imaging of fixed specimens. Ideally the proposed solution will also replace our existing cryo-SEM capability.
