Gassco are seeking to deploy a 4G / 5G mobile private network (MPN) to provide external and internal coverage across the LRF. Initially this will be used by maintenance and operations personnel for general communications and access to Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Control of Work (CoW) / Permit to Work (PtW) systems and similar (via hazardous area-certified mobile telephones and tablet computers), but further use cases (such as 'digital twin') will evolve over time.
