We would like to invite established Social Care providers to tender for the opportunity to deliver a social care service to the Greenwich cluster of prisons including HMP Belmarsh, HMP Thameside and HMP YOI Isis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Care provider to deliver social care support to prisoners in the Greenwich cluster of prisons in-line with the Care Act 2014. The Care Act 2014 bought new duties in relation to prisons and social care. These duties include, from 1.4.2015, the delivery of social care to all eligible prisoners while detained in 1 of the 3 prisons in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
