Thanet District Council is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced provider to carry out Hydrodynamic Maintenance Dredging works at the Port of Ramsgate. The Port of Ramsgate consist of a commercial port with 3 roll-on roll-off, ferry berths and an historic harbour and leisure marina. The total area of enclosed waters is approximately 40 hectares. Regular maintenance dredging is required to maintain vessel turning circle, berthing and safe navigation depths. The contract is a term contract for a period of 36 months with an anticipated commencement date of 14th September 2015.
