Overview
The NIP & Exports Team aims to keep the continuation of exports of animals, products of animal origin, plants and seeds to the EU and other third countries, as well as trade to Northern Ireland when the Transition Period ends. We shall do this by developing and delivering the technical processes needed to enable exports and trade in live animals, products of animal origin, plants and seeds to continue from GB after the Transition Period ends. Without a successful implementation there will be a significant adverse impact to the UK's food supply and to the wider food and farming sectors.
