The candidate will work within the SPS Borders and Boundaries Directorate. SPS Borders and Boundaries is playing the lead role on EU Exit transition period implementation of the import and export regime between the UK and the EU and Northern Ireland. By working closely with delivery partners and across other government departments, we aim to ensure the UK maintains or further enhances its high standards of food and welfare, including biosecurity.
