The University of Southampton is constructing new facilities, and part of this development effort is the update of experimental facilities. This Invitation to Tender addresses one of the requirements, namely the manufacture and construction of a Pipe Flow Rig To be used to study boundary layer growth in enclosed channel flow using PIV measuring techniques. The Rig has been designed and fully specified by the University and this Invitation to Tender contains all the required information for the manufacture, assembly, installation and commissioning of the equipment.
