Overview
1.1. In order to support and enhance UK capability to identify, track and characterise satellites in deep space orbits (e.g. Geostationary Earth Orbit [GEO] and similar environments), Dstl requires a programme of work to study and develop an active ground based radar optimised for deep space. 1.2. This statement of work covers Phase 1 of a Technical Demonstrator Programme (TDP) for a UK Deep Space Radar (DSR) to work towards an Initial Operating Capability (IOC). 1.3.
