Project is to deliver Defra Technical Capability Model (DTCM) Capability. Connectivity > Network Foundation Services > File Transfer > Secure File Transfer Service, (SFTP). Currently there are numerous approaches to SFTP across the Defra family with individual solutions in place for different systems and organisations, many of which are no longer fit for purpose or are approaching end of life. They range from automated hosted solutions to manual transfers between systems that rely on members of DDTS extracting data from one system and uploading to another.
