Local authorities are mandated under the Local Authorities Regulations 2013 to commission comprehensive open access sexual health services, including LARC and the costs of medication/devices associated with their commissioned services. Lincolnshire County Council are seeking to commission local GP Practices to provide long-acting reversible contraceptives (LARCs), including intrauterine contraception (IUC) methods and contraceptive subdermal implants (SDI).
