Overview
The Nuclear Safeguards Programme (NSP) provides international nuclear safeguards technical support to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ). The NSP is managed on behalf of DESNZ by the United Kingdom National Nuclear Laboratory (UKNNL). The Programme delivers international nuclear safeguards support to the IAEA and HMG Departments. The NSP is an annual programme of work which involves around 45 different tasks and engages ~15 UK supply chain partners.
