The Northallerton Ecological Enhancement Project (NEEP) is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund and part funded by Hambleton District Council. The project is located at Stone Cross, Northallerton DL6 2UU and includes environmental enhancement works to existing and new land, and improvements to Willow Beck that runs through the site. The full project will bring new land into community use and support habitats. It will improve existing and create new green space for people and wildlife and includes planting of native species and the creation of a wetland area to increase biodiversity.
