Overview

Forestry England will be awarding a framework agreement for Ground Preparation works of which the majority will be trench mound ditch dollop to a uniform pattern of 2750 mounds per hectare. In addition we require trench mound ditch and dollop to a number of lower densities, invert mounding, site drainage, brash raking, scarification, formation of access tracks and shooting mounds. The locations of the sites are within the main block of Kielder Forest (including Kershope & Spadeadam), Rothbury, Hamsterley, Bowland, Grizedale and North & West Cumbria beats.
