Overview
The NEA Asset Replacement Programme has evolved from an earlier package of works, the Northumbria Minor works package. Initially this consisted of a number of diverse projects in the areas of screen replacement and flood defence enhancement. The package was progressed with BAM Nuttall/Mott MacDonald as PDU7 partners for the Northeast. Studies and scheme development was undertaken under a series of Early Supplier Engagement (ESE) instructions. This resulted in a number of costed schemes, however BAM Nuttall/Mott MacDonald declined to progress with all but one of the projects; Spring Gardens Dam, Co Durham.
