Overview
The aim of the project is to increase the footway widths along Nether Hall Road between Broxholme Lane and Christ Church Road in Doncaster Town Centre. The scheme will reduce the width of the carriageway and the remaining carriageway will be converted to footway and re-allocated to pedestrians The scheme also includes the installation of traffic calming measures (speed plateaus at both cross road junctions) which will slow traffic and make the street feel safer for both pedestrians and cyclists. This scheme is funded by the European Regional Development Fund
