A fully comprehensive service contract is required for the Neptune Waste Management Suction Units, which are used throughout Theatres at Glangwili General Hospital and Prince Philip Hospital in Hywel Dda University Health Board. All high-risk medical equipment must be on a maintenance regime in order to ensure patient safety and statutory requirements are satisfied. In addition, should the equipment fail in use, this level of contract will ensure it is returned to service at the earliest time.
