Overview

The London Borough of Bromley (hereafter referred as ‘the Council’) has three Multi-Storey Car Parks (MSCPs) lit by a variety of lighting, which is between 25-30 years old and coming to the end of its working life. The MSCPs are currently lit 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and maintenance and running costs are significant. The three MSCPs (Civic Centre, Bromley; The Hill, Bromley; Village Way, Beckenham) collectively consume around 900,000 kWh of electricity, at a cost of approximately 100 000 GBP.
