Delivery of the Modeshift STARS programmes. Modeshift STARS is the National Sustainable Travel Accreditation scheme for schools which is sponsored by Active Travel England on behalf of the Department for Transport (DfT). Modeshift - a Not for Profit Organisation - are the creators and developers of the scheme. They also support, train and endorse other organisations to deliver the STARS programmes. Schools who successfully undertake the Modeshift STARS schemes, are then accredited, which gives them access to other DfT sponsored schemes and grants such as Street Smart.
