Overview
South Lakeland and Eden District Councils are seeking to replace their existing Mobile Device Management solutions. The new solution must provide a high level of security on mobile devices including both mobile phones and tablet devices. The solution is to be implemented at both authorities managed by the Shared ICT Service. Both authorities expect to have the solution implemented by the end of March 2017. Contract term 2 years plus one year optional extension period. Both organisations have used the guidance provided by CESG on securing devices and the data that is passed between the devices and the corporate network.
