LOT 1 - Replacement/Refurbishment of End of life Pool Filters & Pool Water Heat Exchangers. The tender must request a refurbishment and replacement tender option from each bidder. Remove and dispose of the two existing 2.35m diameter bobbin wound glass fibre sand filters and replace with two new epoxy lined steel filters fabricated in-situ to fit the existing pipework including air scouring, new sand or glass media to be provided. Remove and dispose of the two existing pool water calorifiers and install a new pumped injection system (as per design provided by others) linked to 120kW & 200kW plate heat exchangers to heat both the learner and main pool water return flows respectively.
