The Wellcome Collection, held by the Museum, is the most significant medical collection in the world. However the current Glimpses of Medical History and Science and Art of Medicine galleries are among the Museum's least accessible spaces, with out-of-date approaches to the history of medicine and old-fashioned museological practices.
