On 02nd May 2024, elections will take place for the Mayor of the West Midlands Combined Authority. The Combined Authorities (Mayoral Elections) Order requires the Combined Area Returning Officer (CARO) to send to every elector entitled to vote in the combined authority area an election booklet. The booklet will contain information regarding the nature and purpose of the election, a list of candidates, the date of election and such other information about it as the CARO determines, together with election addresses from the candidates standing for election if they provide one by close of nominations.
