In 2013 Bury Council were awarded the Sport England contract to host the ?I Will If You Will? (IWIYW) project which focuses on changing women and girls? behaviours to take part in sport and physical activity, with the aim of getting more women and girls to become more active, more often, and acting as a lever for change to help to improve the health and wellbeing of the people of Bury. As part of that project Bury Council is inviting quotations from experienced event companies to deliver a mass participation running event within Bury during Autumn 2016 and 2017, with the option to extend for a further 2 x 1 year periods in 2018 and 2019.
