Overview

It is the museums intention to undertake works to the visitors lift. The current lift is a hydraulic package with the pump room located at the top of the building. The lift serves both front and back of house to facilitate the working and maintaining of the museum along with providing access to all visitors to all public floors. The scope of the modernisation is outlined in the specification documentation, with a second option for the full replacement of the lift with a traction MRL lift.
