The Authority issued a contract notice, on the 10th June 2022, which stated LSMS/005 was a one off fixed quantity buy of rope. It was the Authority's intention to use LSMS/005 to bridge a requirement gap for rope whilst a larger 4x year enabling arrangement for spares and repairs, Fleet General Stores (FGS), was being tendered. The award of the LSMS/005 Contract was significantly delayed (4 months and 1 week) due to clarifications during the evaluation stage.
