Overview

The Council and the Contractor wish to enter into an Agreement for a service, whereby the contractor will undertake low level assessments on behalf of Wigan Council and then prescribe and supply the equipment needed at the time of assessment. The key objectives of this service are:- • Reduce the workload of the Wigan Council. • Provide an efficient assessment and delivery service of TCEs equipment to the Wigan population seven days a week. • Provide a basic low cost TCEs service which offers the potential for savings in other departments via early hospital discharges and free up resources for more complex cases to be processed sooner.
