The Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) requires external legal advice to ensure it operates within the law and legislation, to protect the interests of customers and its brand, as well as internal oversight of key policies and processes. The following are the fundamental areas where MaPS will need legal advice: - Subsidy Controls, Public Procurement and UK regulation (Commercial advice) - Employment Law - Corporate Law In each of these areas, MaPS will need a range of support and advice (both written and verbal).
