HMCTS needs to expand and improve its legal qualification schemes (currently offering Level 3 and Level 6) as legal apprenticeships will form a critical part of its strategy to create a pipeline for business-critical Legal Advisor and other legally qualified roles. Recruiting and retaining already qualified individuals to these roles is extremely challenging due to the labour market in this sector. Paralegal Level 3 - This apprenticeship underpins the initial legal training.
