Overview
Cumbria County Council (“the Council”) is seeking to appoint a consultant to undertake the scheme development and appraisal necessary to support the selection of a preferred route and to undertake the production of an Outline Business Case (OBC) for the Kendal Northern Access Route. The OBC is to be submitted for approval by the Department for Transport, so the Kendal Northern Access Route can achieve Programme Entry and secure in-principle delivery funding from the department’s Large Local Majors fund.
