Overview
Gloucester City Council, Cheltenham Borough Council and Tewkesbury Borough Council have worked in partnership to prepare the Joint Core Strategy (JCS). This is a strategic level plan covering the three local authority areas and was adopted in December 2017. Notwithstanding this, the partnership continues and the JCS authorities are now in the early stages of undertaking a review of the plan. This piece of work relates the retail and city / town centre strategy and planning policies of the plan, an immediate review of which was required by the Inspector's final report (extract provided at Appendix 1).
