ISO 9001 Surveillance Visits

MCA is required to maintain a certified Quality Management System (QMS) to meet the statutory obligations of EC Flag State Directive 2009/2. Retention of a certified QMS provides evidence of compliance with the international obligations of the 'Implementation of IMO Instruments Code' (IIC). MCAs Quality Management System is the responsibility of all staff, but the policy and subsequent day to day governance is managed by the Head of Internal Audit, supported by the Business Improvement & Assurance Division which comprises of Lead Audits and administrative support for the Internal Assurance Audit Progrmme, Document Management.
