Overview

Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council (the Council) is looking to establish a Professional Service Contract with a single service provider for use in the appointment of a suitably qualified and experienced civil engineering consultant to carry out 91 Principal Inspections, 18 Scour Inspections and 125 General Inspections of Highway Structures in accordance with DMRB CS 450 and BD 97/12 including the organisation of safe access, required permits, traffic management and report production. The structures include highways bridges, railway bridges and waterway bridges. The contract is for a period of nine months with a potential six month extension.
